It is the greatest honour of my life to be elected to serve as your Member of Parliament for the Dunfermline and Dollar constituency. I will do everything I can to serve you and your family and deliver for our communities.
The Dunfermline and Dollar constituency blends a rich history, vibrant communities and a future of dynamic growth. It includes Scotland’s newest city, Dunfermline, once a royal capital and now a thriving urban centre. Rosyth is home to a major naval dockyard, playing an ever-growing role in UK shipbuilding and defence. Our picturesque towns and villages, Dollar, Muckhart, Kincardine, Saline and Limekilns, add character to our area, offering a unique mix of heritage, natural beauty and local pride. Our former mining towns of Oakley, High Valleyfield and Comrie reflect the area’s industrial heritage and contribute to the resilience of our communities, as well as our proud working-class roots and strong sense of identity.

About Graeme
I live in the constituency on the West Fife coast with my wife and two daughters. Before being elected as the MP for Dunfermline and Dollar, I served as a councillor for West Fife & Coastal Villages and ran my own business.
My dad was an electrician all his working life – for the nationalised Electricity Board, the railways, the armed forces, and at Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood Palace. My mum worked in clerical and administrative roles across construction, insurance, and higher education. My sister is a Clinical Psychologist in our NHS.
I was one of the first in my family to go to university. I got there through hard work and ambition – but I also got there because of great teachers and the opportunities provided by a good state school. Without public services like those, my journey would have been far more difficult, if not impossible.
The people of Dunfermline and Dollar voted for change – for a better future where everyone has the chance to achieve their ambitions. I will never be ashamed of being ambitious – for my community, for Fife, and for Scotland.
As your MP, I’m determined to help create a society where the opportunities my parents worked so hard to give me – and which successive Labour governments helped to deliver – are available to everyone.
